Working Sabbatical in LA

I know, “working sabbatical” is an oxymoron, but it’s the best term I’ve come up with so far to describe what I’m doing in LA from January – April of this year.  I’ve taken my business (AKA myself) on the road for a lot of reasons, and no reason at the same time.  Which is to say there is no one single reason that brought me down here, but I could name a thousand ways that this time away from Seattle will be good for me.

So what am I going to do down here?  Good Question!  I wonder the same thing sometimes.  Well for one, I’m going to meet a ton of new people.  If you’re a creative professional, entrepreneur or artist type in LA – I want to meet you! 

I’m going to work – at the moment I’m finishing up a bunch of projects for Seattle clients, but once those are done I’ll get serious about nailing down some LA based projects.  

I’m also going to spend time on a bunch of personal/ professional development goals that I always plan to do in Seattle but never seem to have time for (despite really having a lot of free time compared to many people I know).
